For other uses, see Simon.

Simon Rigg was a 23rd century Human man. In the 2280s, he served as assistant to the port master at the spaceport outside of New Bougainville on Tanar IX.

Biography[]

He was described as jaundiced, gaunt, methodical, and passionless. He had difficulty making friends. His hobbies were studying Vulcan psychology and the Vulcan language.

Abandoned by his parents at birth, Rigg grew up in a foundling home in Great Britain. As a talented child he earned a scholarship to the Merchant Marine Academy. His first posting after graduation was to Tanar IX. His emotionless personality annoyed portmaster John Davoreaux, but nevertheless Rigg remained primly efficient and sought to prove himself and earn a better assignment.

In 2285, when the SS Eileen landed at the spaceport for repairs, Rigg brought engineer S'lith to the appropriate parts warehouse. (FASA RPG module: The Serpent Factor)

Gameplay allowed for Rigg to learn about and try to stop the mission of the SS Eileen, which was to deliver Valkris and schematics for the Genesis Device to a rendezvous with Commander Kruge, although canon required that their mission succeed.
