Singapore was a city-state on Earth. It is located in southeastern Asia at the tip of the Malay Peninsula.
History[]
On 10 July 1992 at his palace citadel in Chandigarh, India, Khan Noonien Singh announced his annexation of Singapore into the Great Khanate, along with Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam. During the Third World War, Singapore was a member of the Eastern Coalition. After the ECON attacked the United States of America and Europe with nuclear weapons, Western powers responded by launching nuclear weapons at Singapore. (ST - Strange New Worlds 9 short story: "The Immortality Blues")

In the Kelvin timeline, Singapore was conquered by the Augments during the Eugenics Wars in 1992. Initially, it was ruled by Verity Cheng under the East Asian Union. After Cheng was toppled, Hong Kong was liberated by the Pan-Asian Resistance.
Bernard Maltuvis of Maltuvisland seized the city and later betrayed his ally Khan Noonien Singh of the Khanate, Khan launched a counter-offensive into South Asia and Australia. Khan's aircraft passed between Singapore's skycrapers. In 1996, Humans succeeded in overthrowing their Augment rulers, ending the Eugenics Wars. (TOS - Khan comic: "Issue 3")
