Singh was Human male of the 24th century. He was a Starfleet Security officer who served aboard the USS Enterprise-D.
In 2368, Singh participated in a non-lethal assault on a Kaylar-held dam on Votar VII led by Lieutenant Worf. However, the Kaylar fought off the Starfleet team, and Singh was shot and nearly killed by an energy weapon. Ensign Ro Laren helped Singh and the team retreated back to the Enterprise. Doctor Beverly Crusher reported that Singh would recover from his injuries. (TNG comic: "A Matter of Dates")
