Singin' in the Rain was a motion picture released in the year 1952.

History and specifics[]

It starred Gene Kelly. The film was a favorite of USS Enterprise yeoman Minnie Moskowitz, who would watch it repeatedly in the Enterprise tape library. She particularly loved Kelly's dance sequences. (TOS - Strange New Worlds I short story: "The Girl Who Controlled Gene Kelly's Feet")

Winger Bingston, Jr. was a fan of the movie. In 2381, he activated a holonovel of the film aboard the USS Cerritos, looking forward to portraying Gene Kelly. Unexpectedly, he got trapped in the holodeck by the malevolent artificial intelligence Badgey. (LDs video game: The Badgey Directive)
