A singularity torpedo was a type of weapon employed aboard starships.

Developed by the Romulan Star Empire as a result of their conflict with the Taurhai Unity, during one such engagement the vessel of Tovan was disabled by a Taurhai Star Dragon. With no weapons or means to combat their enemy, Tovan lulled the Taurhai into false sense of security in order to work on a radical if not dangerous plan. He worked with his ships engineers to modify their torpedoes in order to fire their artificial quantum singularity at the enemy vessel. This led to the destruction of the Taurhai ship when its subspace funnel distorted and also led to one of the first victories against the Romulans technologically superior enemy.

After this event, the Romulans began employing special singularity torpedoes into their navy with the Verelus class dreadnaughts carrying two such launchers. (Last Unicorn RPG module: The Way of D'era: The Romulan Star Empire)
