Sklurr

Sklurr was a planet, the twelfth planet of the Danae Victoria system, located in unclaimed territory in the Tharkian sector of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants. It was the homeworld of the advanced non-humanoid Sklurrian civilization.

History and specifics[]

Sklurr's land masses appeared multi-colored from orbit, with greens, oranges and yellows. Its northern hemisphere had a small ocean.

In the 2260s, Romulans from the neighboring planet Karr blockaded non-aligned Sklurr with orbital guard probes that wrecked at least one starship and attacked the USS Enterprise. A delegation of Sklurrians prepared to make first contact in orbit aboard the Sklurrian command ship, but a Romulan battlecruiser kidnapped James T. Kirk and the delegates, then brought them to Karrstern prison on Karr. (TOS comic: "Shell Game")
