Vulcan IDIC Seal

S'chn T'gai Skon was a male Vulcan in the 22nd century, the son of Solkar.

He was a mathematician who was recurited by the Cochrane Institute of Alpha Centauri to participate in the testing of a prototype transporter. (DS9 short story "Dead Man's Hand")

He was also the first Vulcan to translate The Teachings of Surak from the Vulcan language to English. (ENT episode "Two Days and Two Nights")

Skon was the father of Ambassador Sarek and grandfather to Ambassador Spock. (Star Trek III: The Search for Spock), and therefore he was the husband of T'Rama (SNW story A Girl for every Star).
