Skondard was a star system located within the Orion Neutrality Area in the Alpha or the Beta Quadrant.
Its system was home to a number of planets, none of which were Class M. Skondard II, or Kammzdast, was an ancient world used as a base by various powers for millennia. It was an Orion base by the 23rd century. The other worlds had been extensively mined by Orion Orion slaves, but were depleted long before.
