Skooka Dawson was a female Human in the 23rd century who appeared to be of Aleutian descent.
In 2270, Dawson served as the governor of the mining colony on Skagway, a moon of Klondike VI. During her time as governor, Klondike VI's rings began destabilizing and the colony was bombarded with debris. This led to serious morale issues for the colony and Dawson was forced to try to maintain order, though as evacuations were underway order broke down in the colony. As the moon neared Klondike VI's atmosphere, Dawson was prepared to go down with it, but the USS Enterprise was able to save the moon and restore the planet's rings. (TOS novel: The Rings of Time)
