Sloan was a member of the crew of Bravo Station on the Gamma Xaridian colony. He coordinated the defense against the Rithrim raiders which threatened the colony in 2267, but their ships were too fast for their phaser cannons and he was killed when the raiders destroyed Bravo Station.
