Doctor Smith

Doctor Smith was a Human male born in the 19th century. He was a merchant who sold snake oil.

History

Smith was a well-dressed patent medicine salesman in southern California in the Old West. In 1855 in a small town which might have been Los Angeles, Smith offered for sale a potion called Dr. Dunsaney’s Magic Elixir, which he claimed would cure a variety of ailments from earaches to seizures. His trailer was adorned with a sign of his business, Dr. Smith’s Snake Oil, and his presentation was seen by several residents. Montgomery Scott had time traveled to 1855 to follow evidence of a newly-arrived person who could perform miracles, but the trail dead-ended with Smith. (TOS comic: "A Bomb in Time")
