The Smithsonian Museum of Air, Sea and Space was a late-23rd century museum in San Francisco on the planet Earth in an alternate timeline created by Mia Colt's time travel.

History and specifics[]

The museum was part of the Starfleet archives and administered by the Federation. Monorails connected the facility to the Holoplex and San Francisco Arboretum. The building had at least 12 levels. On level seven, exhibit delta featured the Constitution-class USS Enterprise. Other exhibits included the Phoenix, space shuttle Enterprise, and a replica of a two-masted seagoing USS Enterprise. (EV comic: "Future Tense, Part Two")

In the year 2293, Colt first arrived in the timeline inside the museum's starship Enterprise exhibit, within her former quarters. Her presence was detected by Starfleet Security in the restricted area and two Starfleet security officers were immediately dispatched to confront her. (EV comic: "Futures, Part One")

Colt was forced to jump out of an airlock, plunge down the side of the shuttle's hull, then slide along the rigging of the seagoing ship to get to ground level and escape from the building, hiding in rainy parkland outside. Her escape was observed by another museum visitor, James T. Kirk, and he pursued her. Later, they shared drinks in the Phoenix Tavern restaurant located near the Phoenix exhibit.
