Solarformer

The solarformers were a type of Kessok technology which are capable of reforming suns allowing a star system to be more hospitable for colonization rather then individual terraforming of the worlds themselves. They are the about the size of small space stations and possess warp capability. They can be detected through a high concentration of anti-protons. At least five of these devices were known to exist.
