The PlayStation Portable (officially abbreviated PSP) is a hand-held off-shoot of the Playstation family of home consoles produced by Sony Corporation.
The games and video programs (movies and TV shows) usable on the PSP are on the Universal Media Disc (UMD)WP format, which is a Sony-proprietary format.
To date, only one game has been released for the PSP: Star Trek: Tactical Assault, although Paramount Pictures released the Star Trek Nemesis motion picture for the PSP as well.
