Biography[]
Soren was an accomplished pilot and navigator on the J'naii civilization's spacecraft fleet in the 2360s decade, and they were chosen to assist the Starfleet crew of the Federation starship Enterprise-D in recovering a lost J'naii shuttlecraft, the Taris Murn, in the year 2368. The risky maneuvers involved were a success, but Soren returned home in shame, as their interactions with gendered crewmembers aboard the Enterprise revealed Soren's secret gender identity as a female who was attracted to males, a serious J'naii cultural taboo.
