Sortek

Sortek was a male Vulcan doctor in the 24th century. He was a friend of Dr. Ayib Yee Pran and his mother, Chief Rupi Yee. Sortek was in ShiKahr on Vulcan during the Borg Invasion of 2381, and two hours prior to the Borg attack on Vulcan, placed a communication to his family on Cor Caroli. He was presumed killed in the Borg bombardment of the city. (ST novel: A Singular Destiny)

Sortek may have, like Dr. Pran, been a member of Médecins Sans Frontières.
