The Khanate, Pan-Asian Resistance, and Maltuvisland on a Eugenics Wars map in 1996.
Southeast Asia saw significant military action during the Eugenics Wars. India was the seat of power for the Khanate, the Augment nation ruled by Khan Noonien Singh in the 1990s. Other Southeast Asian nations in the Khanate included Pakistan, Nepal, and Bangladesh. Khan's ally Bernard Maltuvis ruled Maltuvisland, composed of Burma, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Sri Lanko, Thailand, and Vietnam, as well as New Guinea, the Philippines, and Australia.
In 1996, Maltuvis betrayed Khan, sending military forces from Australia and Thailand to invade India. However, Khan's forces defeated them, and he retaliated by killing Maltuvis and conquering Maltuvisland. (TOS - Khan comic: "Issue 3")
