Spectre of Cowardice.

A spectre was a ghost-like Klingon, found among the most higher ranks of the Fek'Ihri Horde. Three spectres resided beyond the gates of Gre'thor. They resembled tall Klingon captains or dahar masters, with shining white skin and piercing red eyes. They were equal in rank to Fek'Ihri chieftains. (STO - Fek'Ihri Return mission: "The Gates of Gre'thor")

Appearance and specifications[]

.

Spectre of Dishonor.

The spectres of Gre'thor were a quartet of male, ridged Klingons, adorned in military regalia and wearing long, brown coats. Their braided bears and long hair was white.

While a spectre's only armament was an oversized sickle, they had several abilities they could employ in close combat. This armament and the abilities matched those of a Fek'Ihri chieftain: vicious blast, life drain heal, devouring fire, and vile slash.

Equaling chieftains, spectres were stronger than the lower-ranked hordlings, ravager and slavemaster. Their resistance to physical damage and skill level was equivalent to a captain in the Klingon Defense Force. (STO - Fek'Ihri Return mission: "The Gates of Gre'thor")

History[]

, Spectre of Fear.

Molor, Spectre of Fear.

During the invasion of the Klingon Empire by the resurgent Fek'Ihri Horde in 2409, a Klingon Defense Force commanding officer and their away team traveled to Gre'thor on the Barge of the Dead. Ferryman Kortar advised the team that to enter Gre'thor, they would have to defeat the four spectres. (STO - Fek'Ihri Return mission: "Afterlife"))

After passing through the gates of Gre'thor, they away team was unable to proceed deeper into the area towards Molor's chamber without defeating a trio of spectres first. Each spectre - Spectre of Cowardice, Spectre of Dishonor and Spectre of Treachery - engaged the away team on their own and were defeated.

Through a steaming hot corridor, the away team arrived in a rectangular chamber dominated by a lava-filled basin, upon which platforms allowed walking. Molor, the final spectre, faced the KDF there and experienced a swift defeat. Afterwards, the team transported to caves beneath the volcano on Boreth, leading to Fek'lhr and his lair. (STO - Fek'Ihri Return mission: "The Gates of Gre'thor")
