The Spinward Horn was a region of Federation space lying between the Orion Neutrality Area and the Klingon Neutral Zone. Its shape formed a horn, pointing spinward.
The area was of strategic importance to the Federation, especially the planet Ayirn in the Symbokovech star system. Ayirn was an Orion world with Federation membership, and the foremost world in the Spinward Horn (FASA RPG module: The Orions: Book of Common Knowledge).
