Biography[]
By 2256, Spoeneman had reached the rank of captain and been given command of the ISS Cooper.
That year, his ship encountered the USS Discovery (mistaking it for ISS Discovery) in an asteroid field near Porathia, which had come under attack by a Vulcan rebel cruiser, and moved in to assist. After the attack was repelled, he had his ship resume their hunt for rebels, leaving Discovery. (DSC episode: "Despite Yourself")
