Sprang was a Human space traveler who became trapped in the netherspace containing the Museum of Missing Ships. He was from a time before the Federation had gotten organized.

History[]

When a group of Klingons seized the Museum and captured its inhabitants, Sprang was reluctant to fight back, unwilling to risk his life. Both J'Karl and James T. Kirk shamed him for his cowardice, and he joined them in battling the Klingons. Sprang died along with the other inhabitants of the Museum when Limbo exploded, having lived there so long that they would be out of place in Kirk's world. (TOS comic: "Museum at the End of Time")
