Springwine is a Bajoran beverage that is made from fermented kava juice.

In 2375, Kai Winn Adami intended to present Benjamin Sisko with rare vintage of springwine that dated to before the Occupation as wedding gift, but, after Sisko called off his wedding to Kasidy Yates, offered some to "Anjohl Tennan", the disguised Gul Dukat. After buying land in Kendra Province, Sisko considered making springwine from the kava he could grow. Kasidy Yates joked he could call his vintage the "Emissary's Special Reserve". (DS9 episode: "Penumbra")
