"May the wisdom of the Lawgiver ring sweetly in your ears"
Stamblyr

Songmaster Stamblyr was the leader of the sect of the Chanters on Frigis. He welcomed an away team led by William Riker of the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D) in the practice hall of the Choir of Holy Intonations as they were investigating the Fifth Scroll. To welcome them, he played for them the chant 'Futility of Wisdom' and also gave them an orchestrion which played that melody.

When the team returned the missing golden ring of the hall, taken by the Seekers in one of their Declaratories. He rewarded them by singing their loveliest chant, 'Watch Your Step' and an orchestrion with its melody. When they returned the sonic redigitizer from the 'discordant' Seekers and repaired the instrument, in their honor Stamblyr played the Lawgiver's song 'Traveling Music'.
