Star Trek: Captain's Log is an anthology comic book miniseries published by IDW Publishing in 2010. The series works in a similar fashion to IDW's Alien Spotlight series; with each issue utilising a different creative team, and each issue focusing on a different subject; in this instance a different starship commander. The first of four issues of the series was published in January 2010, with further issues being released at irregular interval through the year.
The series was first unofficially announced by former IDW editor Andrew Steven Harris in a blog post in July 2009. Harris confirmed the Sulu issue, and speculated on other captains that might be included in the series, suggesting: Edward Jellico, Rachel Garrett of the USS Enterprise-C and William T. Riker of the USS Titan.[1] All but the Riker issue were to be produced. The issue about Garret (by Robert Greenberger with art from George Freeman) was canceled in June. [2]
