The first season of Deep Space Nine was produced in 1992 and 1993 and aired in 1993

History

Aside from the main characters the first season introduced Dukat, Garak, Nog, Rom, Kai Opaka, Vedek Winn, Vedek Bareil and Grand Nagus Zek. Several characters from Star Trek: The Next Generation appear in guest starring roles, such as Captain Picard, Lwaxana Troi, Q, Vash, Lursa and B'Etor. Keiko and Molly O'Brien become regular DS9 recurring characters.
