The seventh season of Deep Space Nine was produced and aired in 1998 and 1999. It was the last season of the series.
History[]
The series returns for the final season and to the storyline of the Dominion War ravaging the Alpha Quadrant, a cult of Bajorans have formed to worship the Pah-Wraith inhabiting the wormhole, and Sisko returns to Deep Space 9 along with Ezri Dax after discovering his mother was a Prophet later marrying Kasidy Yates. Odo learns his people have been infected with a virus, Bashir takes on an assignment for Section 31 and later with O'Brien's help discovers the cure to the virus infecting the Changelings, and Worf helps Martok become chancellor. Dukat returns leading the Pah-Wraith cult, then disguises himself as a Bajoran to work with Kai Winn to summon the Pah-Wraiths.
The Breen enter the war siding with the Dominion, the Cardassian-Dominion alliance breaks down, Kira Garak and Damar lead a Cardassian resistance movement against the Dominion, and the alliance between the Federation, Klingon, and Romulan forces later joined by the Cardassians claim victory concluding Dominion War.
Returning characters include Dukat, Garak, Nog, Rom, Kasidy Yates, Leeta, Keiko, Molly, Zek, Brunt, Damar, Weyoun, Martok, Gowron, Vic Fontaine, Admiral Ross, Sloan, the Female Changeling, Kai Winn, Joseph Sisko and Kor. This season introduces Ezri Dax, Sarah Sisko and Cretak.
