Background
- The inside front and back cover spreads contained a new illustration of the USS Enterprise orbiting Heitius VII above its last remaining city, which was visited in TOS comic: "The Mummies of Heitius VII".
- The back cover painting depicted James T. Kirk holding a phaser rifle in front of the city of Caeminon, which Kirk helped defend in TOS comic: "Siege in Superspace".
- The reprint of A World Against Itself was an abridged, 13-page version of the original 22-page story. In particular, it cut Spock subduing a lion-like horned mossek in the jungle, which fulfilled a prophecy and led Garda leader Netuya to believe that Spock was their culture’s legendary deity Ibar the Magnificent.
