Starbase 112 was a Federation starbase operated by Starfleet in the 24th century.
In 2365 the USS Enterprise-D alerted Starbase 112 when the starship's crew discovered crops from The Armada, which fed people throughout the sector, had been contaminated by chroniton particles. (TNG comic: "Space Seeds")
In 2367, the Enterprise-D escorted the Vemlan starship Freedom to Starbase 112 after the Vemlan androids controlling the ship, proclaimed themselves Spartacans and gained the protection of the Federation. The same year, Anthony Brevelle deserted the station when his mutation into the native lifeform of Tarchannen III began. (TNG novel: Spartacus; TNG episode: "Identity Crisis")
The Enterprise-D returned to Starbase 112 in 2369 to take on relief supplies destined for Tagra IV. Amanda Rogers also came aboard the Enterprise from the base. (TNG episode: "True Q")
In 2370, a group of Tzuweri hijacked several hallucinogenic devices from Starbase 112 that were scheduled for destruction. (DS9 comic: "Fadeout")
