Starbase 211 was a Federation Starfleet Sigma-class starbase with a space station facility in the 24th century.

Service history and specifics[]

In the year 2367, the USS Enterprise-D was assigned to escort the rogue USS Phoenix to Starbase 211, although Benjamin Maxwell ordered the Phoenix to delineate from the journey en route. (TNG episode: "The Wounded")

In 2369 the Enterprise picked up 14 families from Starbase 211, of which James Kelly and family was one. (TNG novel: The Romulan Stratagem)

In the event of an attack on Deep Space 9 by hostile forces such as the Dominion, starships stationed at Starbase 211 were to travel to the space station to assist the USS Defiant and the Danube-class runabouts in protecting the station. (DS9 reference: Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Technical Manual)

The Federation Department of Temporal Investigations had an office on Starbase 211, and was the initial destination of Lieutenant Arex Na Eth upon his arrival in the year 2376. (NF short story: "The Road to Edos")
