Starbase 621 was a Federation space station, Sierra class starbase in Starfleet service in the 24th century. SB621 was located near the Tzenkethi Coalition and in close proximity to Tzenketh itself. (ST reference: Star Charts; STO video game: Season 10)

History[]

In 2368, Elias Vaughn was assigned to Starbase 621 while working for Starfleet Intelligence. Among his duties were the analysis of starship movement along the Tzenkethi border. While assigned there, he was contacted by Gaten Russol. (TLE - Terok Nor novel: Dawn of the Eagles)

In 2370, Jean-Luc Picard delayed a journey to Starbase 621 by the USS Enterprise-D so that the crew could help repair Caldos colony's environmental controls. (TNG episode: "Sub Rosa")

In 2374, Gul Skrain Dukat's war crime trial was to begin at Starbase 621, where he was to appear before the Special Jury. This was just a formality, as the actual trial would not be held until after the Dominion War. Captain Benjamin Sisko was also due to travel to Starbase 621 to provide evidence for the prosecution. Sisko and Dukat never arrived on Starbase 621, as the starship transporting them, the USS Honshu, was destroyed by Cardassians en route. (DS9 episode: "Waltz")

In 2375, Starbase 621 was a possible destination for information on the Cardassians, Breen and the Tzenkethi gathered by Project Mungin. (SCE eBook: Echoes of Coventry)

The station was still active in the early 25th century. (STO video game: Season 10)
