The Starfleet 6th Pursuit Group is a Federation pursuit group military unit consisting of twelve Starfleet corvette vessels operating in three flights of four ships each, based at Starbase 12. In the late 23rd century the 6th Pursuit Group included Scorpio-class corvettes. (Reference: Federation Ship Recognition Manual)
