For the primary universe counterpart, see Starfleet Academy.

In the mirror universe, Starfleet Academy was the primary service academy of the Imperial Starfleet of the Terran Empire during the 23rd century.

In the 2250s, James T. Kirk attended the Academy, where he befriended Simon Van Gelder. With Van Gelder's assistance, Kirk murdered an upperclassman who had been bullying him named Sean Finnegan. Kirk later commented that "[e]ven death couldn't wipe that stupid grin" off Finnegan's face. (TOS - Mirror Universe short story: "The Greater Good")

Saavik attended the Academy from 2273 to 2277. (TOS - Mirror Universe novel: The Sorrows of Empire)
