The Starfleet Intelligence Branch School was a 23rd century graduate college operated by Starfleet Intelligence to provide general training for its personnel.
History and specifics[]
The facility offered instruction under four branch schools: Field Operations, Administration, Analysis, and Technical Services. Hand-picked Starfleet Academy graduates were recruited, and could specialize in one of the four branches. In addition to the regular program, students could take electives and advanced training classes. After completing the program, the school's graduates would spend the next six months as trainees on a probationary field mission, sometimes a cadet cruise.
Administration Branch School[]
This branch offered a 2.5 year program that gave students professional-level expertise in languages. It enhanced their qualifications in administration, social sciences, surveillance, and commerce. It provided minimum proficiency for forgery, interrogation, and value estimation, as well as basic familiarity with bribery, clandestine operations, and computer operations.
Analysis Branch School[]
This branch offered a 2.5 year program that qualified students in computer operation, computer technologies, and becoming streetwise. It provided minimum proficiency in administration, small vessel piloting, and social sciences, as well as basic familiarity with cryptography, diplomacy, and security procedures.
Field Operations School[]

Technical Services Branch School[]
This branch offered a 3.5 year program that enabled graduates to become an authority on an aspect of the physical sciences. They also became qualified in life support technology, mechanical engineering, and electronics, with basic familiarity in computers, warp drive and deflector technology. They were also given extra training in weapons technology, shuttle systems technology, piloting, directed energy weapons, and environmental suit operations.
