Starfleet Medical Academy (also known as the Starfleet Medical College, Starfleet Teaching Hospital, and Starfleet Academy Medical Branch School) was one of the premier Starfleet Medical facilities on Earth. Many advanced medical equipment, therapies and treatments were developed at the hospital, as well as being the location where many Medical students were taught. In the 2260s, the Teaching Hospital was the location of pioneering regeneration therapies. (TOS novel: Enterprise: The First Adventure)
