In the mirror universe, this Stargazer was a runabout designed to impersonate the Stargazer used by Terran Jean-Luc Picard.

In the 2340s decade, the Iyaaran Sestro impersonated Picard and used this ship as part of the impersonation. In the process, the ship was destroyed by the Klingon warship IKC Tlhab. (STA - Mirror Universe- Shards and Shadows short story: "The Traitor")
