The Stargazer was a 23rd century starship, a merchant ship active in the 2260s decade.

Service history[]

Stargazer was destroyed in the year 2266.

In 2267, the ship was brought up as part of Federation Starfleet Commodore Travers' investigation into a man using the name Dixon Hill who was really a time-traveling Captain Jean-Luc Picard. It was discovered that the Stargazer had never been within 100 light-years of the planet Cestus III. (TNG novel: Requiem)
