A size class is a numerical scale for rating the relative sizes and capabilities of ships. Two different size class ratings have been created for licensed Star Trek works.
FASA[]
FASA's scale comes from its RPG's Ship Construction Manual, and rates ships in terms of their mass in metric tons. It is merely an indicator of size/mass. Combat Efficiency was a separate rating to compare relative combat strengths.
- Class: Mass (mt)
- I: 0-5
- II: 5-15
- III: 15-25
- IV: 25-40
- V: 40-60
- VI: 60-80
- VII: 80-100
- VIII: 100-120
- IX: 120-140
- X: 140-160
- XI: 160-180
- XII: 180-210
- XIII: 210-240
- XIV: 240-300

DS9 video game: Dominion Wars[]
