A starship trait was a characteristic behavior or skill inherent in a spacecraft, a trait that was developed over time by a commanding officer gaining mastery over their starship. In the 25th century, starship traits were a key factor in increasing combat effectiveness aboard starships of the Khitomer Alliance members' military forces and could act as a special weapon.
