Professor Stephen William Hawking (8 January, 1942 - 14 March, 2018) was a noted Human scientist who lived during the 20th and 21st centuries.
Biography
Hawking was most famous for developing several theories involving black holes, as well as performing all of his work while suffering with a severe neurological disease that had him almost completely paralyzed.
In the year 2258 of the Kelvin timeline, James T. Kirk named Hawking among the famous physicists of the past. (TOS novelization: Star Trek)
In 2369, Lieutenant Commander Data created a holographic version of Hawking to participate in a poker game with Albert Einstein, Sir Isaac Newton, and Data himself. Hawking eventually won. (TNG episode & novelization: Descent)
Hawking passed away at his home in Cambridge on 14 March 2018. [1] His name was added to a memorial list in Star Trek Online.
