For the mirror universe counterpart, see Stephen Klisiewicz (mirror).

Stephen (or Steven) John Klisiewicz was a male Human, who was an officer in the Federation Starfleet in the 23rd century. He served as science officer and later an intelligence technology specialist.

Biography[]

In 2265, fresh out of Starfleet Academy, Klisiewicz held the rank of ensign, and was assigned as science officer aboard the USS Endeavour, under the command of Captain Zhao Sheng.

In that year, during the Endeavour's posting at Starbase 47, Klisiewicz was part of a suvey party to a frozen world in the Taurus Reach. There, he discovered the presense of the Taurus meta-genome and Shedai technology on the planet. (VAN novel: Harbinger)

Later that year, Captain Zhao was killed in action during the mission to Erilon, and First officer Atish Khatami was promoted to his position. Khatami put up Klisiewicz for promotion to full lieutenant, which was later approved by Starfleet Command. (VAN novel: Reap the Whirlwind)

By 2286, Klisiewicz was promoted to commander and worked for Starfleet Intelligence. In that year he wrote the technological and scientific part of the Genesis Report, which was reviewed by Captain Jean-Luc Picard following the abduction of Doctor Carol Marcus in 2376. (TNG novel: The Genesis Wave, Book 1)
