Stewed tomatoes was a type of food, a Human civilization preparation made from Earth tomatoes.

History and specifics[]

In the 24th century, 2370s decade, the Federation Starfleet's ration pack 5 contained dehydrated eggs with stewed tomatoes.

On stardate 48532.4 in the year 2371, Captain Kathryn Janeway told Chakotay she was considering having a breakfast of eggs Benedict, with asparagus, strawberries and cream. She amended the statement saying that while that was what she was considering, she would actually be having ration pack 5. (VOY episode: "Phage")
