Storf was a 23rd century Yannid VI native, a crown prince, the brother of crown Princess Minax of Yannid VI.

Biography[]

Storf was a member of the royal family of Yannid VI, the grand nephew of the 2250s decade's King Geror and nephew of Ambassador Phral. After Arlph's brother died in the late 2260s or early 2270s decade, Prince Storf and his sister Princess Minax assumed leadership of the world's government. They reopened relations with the Federation and permitted negotiations that led to the world becoming a member.

In the year 2273, the USS Enterprise orbited Yannid VI to pick up Phral for the signing ceremony. Phral faked his death while beaming aboard, knowing it would destabilize relations. Storf notified Captain James T. Kirk that dormant rebel forces favoring the Klingon Empire were rejuvenated by news of Phral's murder.

During Kirk's investigation, Dr. Loroc was also murdered, and Storf thought Kirk was responsible. Soon however, Phral's duplicity was revealed when he took Minax hostage. After she was saved and Phral taken into custody, Storf apologized to Kirk. He and Minax traveled aboard the Enterprise and personally signed the documents to join the Federation. (TOS comic: "The Enterprise Murder Case!")
