Captain Storil was a Vulcan Starfleet captain in 2367 commanding the Miranda-class Federation starship USS Saratoga. Storil was among the Saratoga personnel killed at the Battle of Wolf 359. (DS9 novelization: Emissary)
- Storil was portrayed by veteran Trek actor J. G. Hertzler, best known for his portrayal of Martok. Both "Emissary" and the short story "Requital" identifies the Vulcan captain as Storil, although the novel Saratoga uses the name Saros.
