The Stralebians[1] were a civilization resident on the planet Straleb, known to the Federation by the 24th century. They were one of two members of the Coalition of Madena, based in the Omega Sagitta star system. (TNG episode: "The Outrageous Okona")

History[]

In the 2360s decade, the Stralebians and the people of the planet Atlec were united in the Coalition of Madena but relations between their worlds were tense. This culminated in the "Okona incident" in 2365, which was resolved with the help of Thadiun Okona and the Federation Starfleet Galaxy-class starship USS Enterprise-D. (TNG episode: "The Outrageous Okona")

Doctor Julian Bashir treated an injured Stralebian boy following a Jem'Hadar attack on Deep Space 9 in April 2376. The boy had suffered a flail chest injury. (DS9 - Twist of Faith novel: Avatar, Book One)
