"Sub Rosa" was the 166th episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, the 12th episode of the show's seventh and final season, first aired during the week of 31 January 1994. The episode was written by Brannon Braga and Jeri Taylor (based on material by Jeanna F. Gallo) and directed by Jonathan Frakes.
