The Subaiesh were a Klingon familial line extant in the 23rd century. (FASA RPG module: A Matter of Priorities)

History and specifics[]

It was an influential extended line composed of 22,000 members, 65% Klingon/Human fusion and 35% Klingon/Romulan fusion, that formed in the 2260s or 2270s. Many were marked with two parallel two-centimeter-long scars. (FASA RPG module: Conflict of Interests)

In the 2270s, Subaiesh spoke out against raiding actions of the Klingon 123rd Assault Flotilla at the Battle of Diogenes on reference stardate 2/1711.17, demanding that it be disbanded. Family influence was limited at the time, and instead the squadron was transferred to the Triangle. (FASA RPG module: The White Flame Starship Combat Scenario Pack)

By the mid-2270s, the family came to believe that the Organian Peace Treaty would prevent war from ever happening with the Federation and began leading a movement to divert aggression toward the Romulan Empire, though the Reshtarc line opposed their efforts. (FASA RPG modules: The Klingons: Star Fleet Intelligence Manual, Conflict of Interests)

In mid-2280s, the Subaiesh operated Korreg Program listening posts within the Triangle and established a secret outpost at Valtor III fortified by the Valtor Garrison. (FASA RPG module: A Matter of Priorities)

By reference stardate 2/2203, the family and its allies began influencing the Klingon Diplomatic Corps, and it controlled the corps by 2285. (FASA RPG module: The Federation)

One month prior to the Genesis incident, emissaries arranged to meet with Federation diplomats to negotiate an accord for more peaceful relations. (FASA RPG module: The Federation, TOS movie & novelization: The Search for Spock)

Relations were strained following the Genesis incident, with Reshtarc leading political infighting at the expense of Subaiesh. (FASA RPG module: Star Trek IV Sourcebook Update)

In the aftermath of Genesis, the Subaiesh lost most of its influence. (FASA RPG module: The Klingons: Game Operation Manual)
