Sudok was described as a tharavul, a Vulcan who was forced into a life as a servitor to the Klingon Empire in a dramatized re-telling of the early 23rd century life of Vrenn. Sudok was mentioned as an operator of klin zha kinta games, including the match played between Force Leader Mabli vestai-Galann and Thought Admiral Kethas in the year 2233. The author's acknowledgments in the volume pointed out that the accuracy in the description of tharavul in the book had been contested by the Vulcans, but he stood by what had been described by his sources.
