Sulel was a 24th century Vulcan woman, a diplomat who served in the Federation Diplomatic Corps as an ambassador.

Biography[]

In the 2360s decade, Sulel was appointed the Federation ambassador to Betazed, a position she still held in the year 2370. She was friends with her counterpart, Betazoid ambassador to the Federation, Lwaxana Troi, and also acquainted with then-Romulan Ambassador to the United Federation of Planets, Hakruth.

During her first year in the position, Sulel struggled with the emotional openness of her host planet, but grew to become enamored with the planet and its people in her own Vulcan way (or so it appeared to USS Enterprise Captain Jean-Luc Picard). (TNG novel: Shadows Have Offended)
