The Summer Islands (or Summers Islands) were a group of islands on planet Deneva, in the Iapetus Ocean. They were famed for their white sandy beaches, and bright cities featuring visual arts and live music. Deneva's capital, Lacon City, was located on the south shore of the largest of the Summer Islands. (ST - Destiny novel: Lost Souls; TNG novel: Losing the Peace)

Tuvok and T'Pel came to the Summer Islands after the Borg Invasion of 2381, where their son Elieth had lived with his wife, Ione Kitain. Following the assault, the islands were largely flattened, only barely raised above the ocean surface. (ST - Destiny novel: Lost Souls)
