A supply ship was a starship classification applied to freighters and transport starships with dedicated duties bringing supplies to larger vessels, space stations and outposts. By the 23rd and 24th century, many major powers in the galaxy's Alpha and Beta Quadrant fielded supply ships. (TOS movie: Star Trek Beyond)
